Upgrade Your 105 amp CS130 Alternator to the Larger Extreme Duty Dual Rectifier Alternator

The upgrade shown above is very simple with Quick Starts specially modified CS-144 type alternator. This swap is on a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4 with the 5.7L (350 C.I.) motor (also will work on 5.0 (305) motor. The CS-130 and CS-144 alternators share the same voltage regulator, even in the high amp alternators. This allows the factory wiring harness from your vehicle to plug directly into the CS-144 alternator without a wiring harness adapter. The CS-144 is much more reliable and can produce up to 5 times as much power at engine idle speeds.
