Braided Copper Wire
« on: May 23, 2013, 02:46:01 PM »
I have been looking for a source that sells braided copper wire 5/16" dia. for a starter, similar to the braided wire that is used for carbon brush connections. I want to make a connection from the yoke through the starter housing to the solenoid. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, GndHog

I haven't been able to find a supplier for that exact kind of wire, but copper grounding braid works in its place. You may need some woven fiberglass wire sleeve as well.
