I have a cs130 alternator and the battery terminal screw has loosened when I removed the battery wires.

I turned it clockwise a time or two and it tightens then loosens.

Do I need to do anything special when I disassemble to tighten the nut.
Do the two halves of the housing split apart when you remove the three long scres so I can just tighten the nut and put it back together withno hassels.
Is there something I have to do with the brushes??? to reassemble.
Thank you
charlie.

taking the back case off the CS130 is a little bit difficult as it is pressed on to the rotor and bearing. Also, make sure you don't lose the springs from the brush holder, which you will have to reload using a toothpick to secure the brushes. There is a simple nut on the other side of the battery post.
