I have a 88 lebaron im replacing the alternator on but the last owner added a old style external 2 wire Chrysler voltage regulator.

When I asked him about this he said the one built into the cars ecm failed so he just cut the wire for that and converted it to this style.

It was working till last week when the alt failed, Its a Chrysler style alt not the bosh what he had was on the 2 rear posts he ran a wire from each post to one of the terminals on the voltage reg.

Question is what post goes to what connector on the regulator I dont want to replace the ecm/controler at this point since every other part of it works.

Looking online I see the older lebaron had a external reg can i just follow that digram?

Thanks Brian kc0kfg
